Krupali’s story is a testament to growth and accomplishment, as she transformed from a dedicated student into a proficient Project Management Specialist within the Learning and Teaching team at QA Higher Education.
The start of an adventure
My adventure commenced with a well thought out and thoroughly researched decision in 2021, when I chose to pursue my passion for data analytics and advanced practice at Ulster University. It was quite an easy decision really, once I had seen Ulster’s ranking and read up on other students’ experience and the faculty here, I knew this was where I wanted to study. Little did I know that this choice would pave the way for incredible personal and professional growth in the future.
The Ulster University London campus is nestled within a vibrant and dynamic urban setting, meaning, I’d have access to a wealth of resources, opportunities, and experiences. The location itself contributed to an atmosphere conducive to learning and growth, with its proximity to various industries, corporate hubs, and cultural landmarks. This strategically situated location further solidified my decision.
Furthermore, the faculty’s esteemed reputation, combined with their dedication to nurturing talent and fostering innovation, resonated deeply with my aspirations. Their guidance, coupled with the cutting-edge curriculum, not only imparted academic wisdom but also cultivated practical skills essential for the evolving landscape of data analytics and advanced practices.
The steppingstone to success
During my studies at Ulster University London, I was driven to acquire practical experience to enrich my learning. Thus, when the opportunity for an internship with the Learning and Teaching team at QA Higher Education came up, I eagerly applied and was accepted. This life-changing internship became a transformative period for me. Over the course of a year, I wholeheartedly dedicated myself to diverse student-related projects, ranging from facilitating student-teacher connections to conducting invaluable well-being surveys. My dedication and enthusiasm were duly recognised, earning me an indispensable role within the team as a Project Management Specialist at QA Higher Education.
A fulfilling experience
My time as a student at QA Higher Education exceeded my expectations. The faculty is very knowledgeable and were available when I needed assistance. The university’s career services team is proactive in connecting students with industry professionals, job fairs, and skill-building workshops. This proactive approach has been instrumental in preparing me for a successful transition from academia to the professional world.
During my internship, I leveraged my MBA background to build valuable connections across departments. I actively participated in extracurricular activities, earning recognition and a spot in this year’s photography club charity calendar, solidifying my position as a valued team member.
Transitioning from a student to a committed full-time contributor at QA Higher Education, my journey embodies progress and passion. As a Project Management Specialist, I’m fuelled by a transformative journey that drives me to enhance student experiences and contribute meaningfully to their educational path.
